I highly recommend Ignite Driving School for new drivers. My instructor was Ahmed, I’m so glad I got him as I think he is the best in the business. Very calm, mindful. I passed first time with 0 minors, with only 20 hours+ of driving. He told and showed me everything I would need to know for my real exam. I’m very happy with him and I recommend him to everyone. Absolutely recommend Lify!! She is so supportive and helps you fully understand everything. I loved how every lesson was planned even till the test day! I felt very comfortable driving with her and I couldn’t have done it without her!!! Amazing company and amazing instructor!
At the start I was a really nervous driver and thought at one point this wasn’t for me but Armed pushed and motivated me. Today I passed my practical 1st time with confidence.

I had an automatic licence from Canada and Ahmed was an excellent instructor. Not only did he have to correct years of bad habits from driving an automatic car, but he also somehow managed to explain how gears, clutch and roundabouts worked to someone completely foreign to the concept. Passed the test first time (only 2 minor faults) and feel confident that I can drive in London (even friends who have UK licenses from elsewhere dread driving in London). If you want a lovely instructor who is calm, patient and flexible and will take things step by step, book with Ahmed. I would highly recommend double lessons (2h) as this seems to cement your progress a bit more than 1hr lessons alone.
I just passed my driving test with Lify. I was previously with a different school but did not have a very good experience with the instructor so I joined Ignite Driving School as they had good reviews. My mum also passed with Ignite Driving School and recommended them to me. Lify was welcoming, friendly and patient and I never felt uncomfortable with her. She teaches the driving techniques in a way that you will be able to remember. As I am a student, I took lessons slowly and whenever I was free but Lify was understanding and accommodating to my schedule. I was a very anxious driver at the start but now I’m more confident and eager to drive. Thanks to Ignite Driving School and Lify for helping me pass.
I had Miah as my instructor. He was so experienced and patient to point out my strengths and weaknesses. He tailor-made the lessons so that I improved significantly after every class. Highly recommended.
Ignite Driving School and its instuctors are very good at what they do, I passed first time with the help of my instructor, Moklu Miah. His teaching is amazing and clear, he is very patient and understanding. Driving is scary at first but he puts the effort in to making it less so. Insuring every step of the way that you are doing a good job as well as letting you drive safely. I was recommended to him by other students who have passed with with Ignite Driving School which also passed first time with him. Yes, passing test is not definite result but Moklu will teach you to a high standard and make you into a safe and confident driver. So passing your test will come easy.
Moklu Miah has helped me to become a confident driver as well as safe. His teaching method is excellent and understandable, giving logic and reasoning behind what he teaches. I recommend Ignite Driving School because I passed first time in Barking even with its rumours to be a really difficult place to pass as a learner.
